The following organizations can help with gambling problems:

National Council on Problem Gambling: A nonprofit health agency that provides information on problem gambling and promotes the development of services for the disorder. Their 24-hour confidential helpline is 800-522-4700.
If you think a friend has a gambling problem:
- Look for signs of a problem.
- Share your concerns with your friend.
- Consider talking to a teacher, coach, or counselor who can help you determine if more intervention might be helpful.
- Do not lend money to people you are concerned have a gambling problem.
