Living in the Digital Age

As a college student today, you are among the most technically literate generation ever. You have not known a world without the luxuries of the Internet and the powers of modern technology. Broadband Internet accounts, wireless technology, laptops, large disk drives, handheld digital organizers, and multiple gigabytes of RAM are standard to you.

Still, do yourself a favor and exercise judgment when you see modern gadgets and top-end computers on display. Many digital products and services sound enticing, but they aren’t really necessary to work effectively as a student—some can even be placed in the luxury item category.
