Put CashCourse in the spotlight on your campus

Last issue, we showed you how two CashCourse schools used a variety of promotional techniques to increase participation on campus. This month, we’re featuring two other schools to give you more ideas on how to promote CashCourse on your campus.

University of California San Diego

The University of California San Diego’s Office of Student Wellness launched their CashCourse site and implemented a CashCourse Weekly Challenge. Read more to see how SMART their campus is now.

Southwest Florida College

Southwest Florida College held an online contest called the “Fiscal Knowledge Road Rally.” Read more to learn what made it such a success.

Have you been successful at promoting CashCourse on your campus? Tell us about it, and maybe your campus can be featured in the next CashCourse Connection!

During the economic crisis:

  • Student’s average credit card balance rose 60%...
  • Student loan balances increased by 90%...
  • Three times as many students cut back on classes...
  • There was a 25% increase in students using one credit card to pay off another…

Learn more from the Arizona Pathways to Life Success for University Students (APLUS) Wave 1.5 research. Funded by NEFE®, the study provides an inside look at how the economic crisis affected college students.

E-mail Amy Hartenstine, CashCourse project manager, with unique ways you have promoted or used CashCourse on your campus.

You can retrieve your password at the CashCourse Administrative site, and your username by emailing CashCourse@nefe.org.
