Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship program

The nationwide Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship award is based on merit rather than financial need. Byrd Scholarships are awarded to promote academic excellence and achievement and to recognize exceptional students who show promise of continued excellence. Awards are $1,500 per year up to a maximum of four years. Funding for these scholarships is allocated to states based on the number of eligible students in those states.
