Fall 2018 Reimbursement Program for Continuing Education

Twice each academic year, CashCourse and the National Endowment for Financial Education® (NEFE®) provides $500 to qualifying individuals to pursue continuing education in the financial education field.

This includes a professional development event, certification, or training that would enrich your skills or knowledge as a financial educator.

The Fall 2018 Cash Course Reimbursement Program applications are open starting this Monday, May 14.

Applications are due Friday, June 8.


To get you started, we have gathered a few resources for some suggested continuing education opportunities:

Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®)
AFC® certification trains professionals to guide clients through life-cycle financial education to help them realize their goals and achieve lasting financial well-being.

Cost: $1,250 – 1,300 
Prerequisites: None

Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE) Money Management Essentials 
This approximately 10-hour online course provides you with a solid financial foundation to better assist those whom you serve.

Financial Fitness Coach (FFC®) 
The FFC® program is a great fit for anyone who wants to become a Financial Coach, or use coaching skills in their work as an educator, counselor or planner.

Cost: $2,200 
Prerequisites: Successful completion of AFCPE’s Money Management Essentials course or the AFC®, CFP®, ChFC®, CFA®, CPA® certification exam.

Certified Financial Education Instructor - Financial Literacy Certification (CFEI) 
The National Financial Educators Council’s Certified Financial Education Instructor program helps individuals acquire the expertise, credibility, and self-assurance they need to teach money management lessons effectively.

Foundations in Financial Planning ℠ Program - Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ (FPQP™) 
The Foundations in Financial Planning ℠ Program Leading to the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™ or FPQP™ Designation is the perfect introduction to personal financial planning for those who are in support roles or have no prior experience.

Higher Education Financial Wellness Summit
